STORMCHASER1241 is dedicated to providing up-to-date storm chaser footage and essential weather warnings for extreme conditions. We strive to ensure users receive real-time updates, enhancing their understanding and response to severe weather events.

Chris saw the aftermath of the 2000 Pine Lake, Alberta Tornado that claimed the lives of 12 People. The warning was issued 5 minutes after the tornado had begun, due to radar limitations and the fact that social media did not exist. Now we have the tools, the radar, the social media capabilities and storm chasers working to warn others

Our Vision

We envision a world where communities are equipped with vital information to stay safe during extreme weather. Extreme Weather Events are on the rise and now more than ever, we have the ability for everyone to stay connected and get the real time information when it matters most.

STORMCHASER1241 came about when Chris, our lead storm chaser, decided to share his storm chasing adventures to social media to get the warnings out as fast as possible. Chris has observed and reported severe weather for over 20 years, starting during his time on patrol as a law enforcement officer on the Canadian Prairies

Chris is often joined by Brielle, and gets real time Foothills reports from Amanda who helps expand the coverage area when severe weather threatens
